On behalf of our Executive and members at Royal Canadian Legion, Bowmanville, Branch 178, I would like to extend a warm invitation to the community to visit us, get to know us, and consider becoming a member.
Our Legion exists for one primary reason: to serve Veterans and their families. But our mission does not stop there. We are also here to serve our broader community, by remembering, supporting, mentoring, fundraising, and providing a place where service, respect, and fellowship still matter.
When you walk through our doors, you’ll find more than a building. You’ll find stories, history, and people who care deeply about honouring sacrifice and giving back. Whether you are a Veteran, a family member, or simply someone who believes in supporting those who served, there is a place for you here.
Membership is not about rank or background, it’s about willingness. A willingness to help, to show up, to lend a hand, and to ensure that no Veteran is forgotten. Our members support remembrance initiatives, community events, youth programs, and charitable causes that make a real difference close to home.
